Mr. Somsay Orasith
Founder & Managing
Director
Somsay Orasith is the Founder and Managing Director of Ariya Sole Co., Ltd., bringing extensive multidisciplinary expertise spanning intellectual property law, corporate advisory, and international trade.
With a strong academic foundation—holding a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Business Law from the National University of Laos and a Master’s degree in Economics from Kobe University, Japan—Mr. Orasith bridges the gap between complex legal frameworks and strategic commercial execution. His professional practice focuses on intellectual property specialization, legal consultancy, business development, and professional translation and interpretation.
Mr. Orasith has actively contributed to national and international development initiatives, serving as a National Consultant for Trade Facilitation with the World Bank and CT Strategies LLC under the SEAREC project, as well as a National Consultant and Liaison Specialist for the FCDO Financial Sector Programme. He is also a recognized IP enforcement expert, frequently collaborating with international bodies such as React (the anti-counterfeiting network) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to conduct diagnostics and portfolio audits for domestic enterprises.

Office Manager
Khamphalaphone Sorluangkhot is a results-oriented professional with over seven years of progressive experience supporting high-level administrative and operational functions across both public and private sectors. He combines a specialized focus on intellectual property rights (IPR) and international regulatory coordination with deep proficiency in navigating Lao government agency procedures.
He demonstrates strong familiarity with institutional frameworks, cross-border cooperation mechanisms, and administrative compliance across key regulatory bodies. In addition to serving as a key coordinator with REACT—a leading global anti-counterfeiting organization—he expertly manages official government liaison, administrative filings, and institutional workflows with Lao public authorities.
- Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the National University of Laos (NUOL), professional qualifications from Vientiane College, Lao-Top College, and Lao-Singapore Business College, alongside specialized intellectual property training through official WIPO E-Learning courses.
Providing comprehensive legal counsel across business operations, commercial transactions, civil litigation, and intellectual property matters. Working closely with the managing director to handle corporate advisory, draft and review commercial agreements, manage dispute resolutions, and navigate complex judicial frameworks for domestic and international clients.
Office Assistant Supporting day-to-day administrative operations, client communications, document management, and coordination with government bodies. Ensuring smooth workflow processes and efficient handling of administrative procedures related to intellectual property filings and corporate services.
